Privacy Policy for GlowCheck

GlowCheck ("we", "us", or "the app") provides feedback on photos and videos to help you decide what to post on social media. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using GlowCheck, you agree to the practices described here.

Photos and Videos You Submit

When you choose a photo or video to analyze, the app sends that image (or, for videos, a small number of still frames extracted from it) to our processing service so that it can be analyzed and scored. This analysis is performed by a third-party artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic) on our behalf.

• We do not store your photos or videos on our servers.
• The images are used only to generate your feedback and score, then discarded.
• We do not use your images to train any models, and we do not share them with advertisers or sell them.

Information We Process

• The image you submit — sent for analysis as described above, not stored by us.
• A random device identifier — a random ID generated on your device (not linked to your identity) used only to count how many checks you have made in a day, so we can apply daily usage limits. These counts automatically expire after about two days.
• Basic technical data — like the type of request and general connection information, handled by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the service securely.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or precise identity through the app's core features.

Advertising

GlowCheck shows ads provided by Google AdMob to keep the app free. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain information, such as a device advertising identifier and general usage data, in accordance with Google's own policies. Many devices let you reset or limit your advertising identifier in your system privacy settings.

Third-Party Services

GlowCheck relies on the following service providers, each of which has its own privacy practices:

• Anthropic — performs the AI analysis of submitted images.
• Cloudflare — hosts the service that routes and processes requests.
• Google AdMob — serves advertisements.

Children's Privacy

GlowCheck is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.

Data Security

Images are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Because we do not store your images, there is no stored image data to be exposed. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information while it is being processed.

Your Choices

• You can stop submitting images at any time by not using the analysis feature.
• You can manage ad personalization through your device's advertising settings.
• You can uninstall the app at any time, which removes the random identifier stored on your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
